Little Fish Learning: English

"Beginning English" shows how English works. It can be used for self-study or for group teaching with the corresponding books. The app includes spoken English audio that teachers can use with groups, even if they do not speak English. It has simple instructions in pictures and in writing. The program is based on the "Look, Listen and Speak" format. It aims to give students the building blocks of English that will help further learning. It contains pictures, spoken audio and English texts to teach sounds, letter-sound correspondence and sentence structure. It focuses on pronunciation and speaking practice. It links language with English literacy. This version includes teaching instructions in English and Khmer, and details of all the program books, which can be ordered online. The Little Fish Learning program will be gradually expanded to include a second program called Books for Reading and Listening and a third program called Beginning Writing. Each program will have companion books for individual or class use. Other language options will be added in the future.
