Notch gestures for apps, quick notes, timers and everyday shortcuts.
Turn your notch into a shortcut zone. Notchly lets you open apps, reach contacts and use quick actions with gestures around your front camera, without returning to your home screen for every small task.
Your shortcuts, within reach
Choose what each available gesture does. Open favorite apps from the notch menu or access a contact to start a call. Leave a gesture unassigned with No Action when you don't need it.
Smart Capsules: timers, stopwatch and controls
Keep a timer or stopwatch in view with a floating capsule while you stay with the task at hand. Access screen brightness and media volume controls from the same area of your screen.
Quick notes without losing your place
Save an idea, a list or useful text in a floating notes panel. Revisit saved notes and tap one to copy its content instantly.
Local clipboard history
Reuse text saved in your clipboard history. Notes and saved clipboard items are stored locally on your device. Clipboard capture is subject to Android restrictions and may not record everything you copy in other apps.
Make the notch your own
Customize the notch ring's color and shape. Calibrate its position to fit your device, or make the outline invisible while keeping the gesture area active.
More options with Premium
Premium features include:
- Dynamic Music Island: floating playback controls for compatible music sessions.
- Teleprompter: a floating script with scrolling and reading controls.
- Advanced gestures and expanded per-app gesture options.
- More slots in the shortcut menu.
- Expanded note and clipboard capacity, plus ad removal.
The free version offers basic functionality with usage limits. Dynamic Music Island and Teleprompter require Premium.
Permissions and compatibility
Notchly requires its Android Accessibility Service to detect configured gestures and perform the actions you choose. You enable the service in Android settings.
Contacts access is optional for contact shortcuts. Direct calls may require phone permission. Some features need permission to display over other apps; brightness controls require permission to modify system settings. Dynamic Music Island requires notification access to recognize compatible media sessions.
Control placement and feature availability can vary by device, notch or front-camera layout, and Android version.
