Lumen plays a full-screen charging animation when you connect a charger. It sits over the lock screen for a moment, then goes away. It does not replace your wallpaper or your system lock screen, and it does not charge the battery faster. Choose a look, set the color and speed, and decide how long the show stays up. Themes • Neon Reactor, Star Warp, Molten Plasma, Halo, Tide, and Quiet are free • Edge, Grid, Canopy, Ripple, Aurora, and Orbit are part of Lumen Pro Each theme is drawn live. You can shift the hue, speed, density, and brightness. How long it plays • 8 seconds • 15 seconds • 30 seconds • 1 minute • Stay on until you unplug or tap the screen Tap anywhere to close it. Unplugging the charger closes it too. If you leave it on for the whole charge, the screen stays awake, so it will use more power. What Lumen needs • Display over other apps, so the animation can appear on the lock screen • Notifications, for the background service that listens for the charger • Unrestricted battery use, so the phone does not stop that service Lumen Pro is available through a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase on Google Play. You can restore a purchase from the app. Free themes stay available without a purchase. Lumen is a visual effect for charging. It is not a battery health tool and it does not report temperature, voltage, or charge time from the system.
