Join Minecraft Bedrock servers on PS4, PS5 and Xbox via the LAN games list.
Play the Minecraft Bedrock servers you love — on the console you already own. Free, and no account needed. Consoles can only see servers on your own network. MC LAN Proxy puts one there. It runs a small proxy on your phone that appears in your console's LAN Games list, and relays your game traffic to whichever Bedrock server you choose. No DNS settings to change, no PC, no router configuration. MINECRAFT 26.60 AND NETHERNET Minecraft is replacing the way it finds LAN games. MC LAN Proxy answers both the old method and the new one, NetherNet, at the same time, so your server can still be found. Update the app and there is nothing to switch on. WORKS WITH • Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One • PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 • Phones and tablets running Minecraft Bedrock Edition • Any Bedrock server address you can type NINTENDO SWITCH — EXPERIMENTAL A Switch does not list LAN games hosted by a phone, so the method above cannot reach it. There is a second mode that takes a different route: it signs in to Xbox Live and publishes the server as a joinable session, which appears in the Friends tab instead of under LAN Games. It is free, and it is in this version. It is off by default and marked experimental. It needs a Microsoft account — use a spare one — and the app explains the risks before you sign in. The mode is confirmed working on Bedrock clients, but we have not yet confirmed it on a Switch itself. We would rather tell you that than let you find out. HOW IT WORKS 1. Put your phone and your console on the same Wi-Fi. 2. Type a Bedrock server address, or pick one from your saved list. 3. Press Start. 4. On your console: Play → Friends. The server appears under LAN Games. FREE VERSION • Save as many servers as you like, and connect to any of them • Live player count, version and ping for every saved server • Play in sessions — watch a short ad to keep playing when one runs out • Every diagnostic below, in full FULL VERSION ADDS • Favourites — star your servers and reach them in one tap • The online server directory — browse thousands of Minecraft servers without typing an address • Connection history — every past session and what happened to it • No ads and no session limit You can unlock the full version from inside the app. BUILT TO SURVIVE A LONG SESSION The complaint about every app of this kind is the same: it works, then drops you after a few minutes. This one holds the connection awake with the screen off, survives a Wi-Fi change, and rebuilds a dropped relay by itself. You can stop it from the notification or from Quick Settings without opening the app. IT TELLS YOU WHAT IS WRONG • A live connection reading while you play — good, weak, or the server not answering • "Check my setup" finds the things that stop it working, before you press Start • Plain-English errors: wrong Wi-Fi, port already in use, server offline — each says what to do about it None of that is behind the paywall. Knowing whether the app is working is not something to sell back to the person trying to find out. In 52 languages. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Mojang AB or Microsoft.
