Chopmatic is a sampler, sample chopper and beat maker in one app. Open any song or sample, or record one, chop it to the beat, play the slices on drum pads, build beats on a multitrack sequencer, mix them, arrange a song and export everything. It comes with a royalty-free starter kit and splits any track into stems on your device, free, on a panel built like hardware. No account. No upload. No subscription. CHOP SAMPLES YOUR WAY • BARS: slices on a tempo grid from 1/4 to 1/32 notes • LOOPS: finds the half-bar, 1, 2, 4 and 8-bar loops that really loop • SPIKES: a cut on every hit, even on a dusty, crackly record • EQUAL: even slices, from 4 to 64 • MANUAL: tap the waveform to cut, drag any edge • LAZY CHOP: play the sample and tap pads to cut where you hear the hits • STRETCH: a new tempo without changing the key, or the other way round Chopmatic detects the tempo and the key and names every slice: KICK, SNARE, HAT, a chord, a note. PLAY THE PADS Pads sound the moment you touch them, MONO or POLY. Each has PITCH, GAIN, FILTER, an envelope, PAN, DRIVE, CRUSH, ECHO and VERB, and plays as LOOP, ONE SHOT or GATE. REPEAT is note repeat locked to the beat; 16 LEVELS plays one chop across 16 pads. Plug in a pad controller and it just plays, with ready mappings for the MPK Mini, Launchkey Mini, MiniLab 3, MPD218 and nanoKONTROL2, and MIDI LEARN for anything else. SEQUENCE, MIX AND ARRANGE • 16 sequences of 1 to 8 bars on a grid of chunky squares • Tap steps, drag to paint, or press REC and play live, with a metronome: every hit lands where you heard it • QUANTIZED or HUMAN with SWING; hold a hit and drag it off the grid in fine steps • MAKE A KIT finds your kick, snare and hats; PATTERN lays a beat on them • A mixer: level, pan, drive, crush, echo and reverb on every track, and GLUE to hold it together • SEND TO CHOP bounces a sequence back into a sample to flip • Arrange sequences into a song; drag anything anywhere, and UNDO it all FREE STEM SEPARATION Split any sample into drums, bass, vocals and other on your device, then chop each one.
