Material Notes

Excellent local-first note app with fast performance, intuitive tags, Rich Text and Markdown support, plus reliable JSON backup/restore. Creation and modification timestamps were preserved after full disaster-recovery testing (clear storage + restore), and search and formatting worked flawlessly. It has become a strong ColorNote replacement. Only notable issue: Markdown export consistently failed with an "Invalid argument(s)" error, though JSON export/import remained flawless throughout testing.

The app is a little rough yet... some bugs exist and basic features missing. BUT... there is great potential for this and with a few improvements, it will be VERY good. The basic concept is perfect for those wanting a modern Note app that is simple to use and yet have rich text features.

this was the goat 😃 I have many reason for this review but I want to tell you two of first that doesn't a feature but great because this notes taking app doesn't required internet connection you can check the permission list the app can't spy on you in the second thing I just love it the backup and restore feature . developer please don't discontinue this amazing app ❤️

The app is great; the only issues I'm facing are that I'm unable to take screenshots of my notes, and the search option doesn't work properly.

the app is super simple and amazing. i just request developer to not change much about it and don't add paywall or subscription model please. this is beautiful as it is. thank you

Awesome app

I like it's simple. but I need better search capabilities for each note. It becomes useless for me without that. Could you please add that in the next update ?

Nicer looking than v1.6.3. but, in this latest version, there is no way to paste text! I'll stick with v1.6.3 for now. Uninstalled.
