Magnify text and details on your phone screen, right over other apps.
🔍 Screen Magnifier enlarges text and details on your phone screen. Read small text, table rows, messages and interface elements in a panel over the app you are using. It magnifies screen content, so there is no need to use the camera or point your phone at an object. 📱 A magnifier for your screen Camera magnifiers help you examine physical objects. Screen Magnifier enlarges what is already on your phone. Open a document, website, spreadsheet or conversation, select an area and view its magnified copy in a separate panel. If an app has no convenient text-size setting or pinch-to-zoom gesture, inspect a fragment without changing the original document. Screen capture availability depends on Android and the app you are viewing. ✨ Features • Adjust magnification from 2× to 6×. • Resize the selection frame's width and height. • Create a wide, narrow area for reading lines of text. • Move the frame to the part you want to examine. • Tap “Done” to keep its size and hide the resize handles. The frame remains movable. • Open area selection again whenever you need to resize it. • Switch the magnified panel between the top and bottom of the screen. • Learn the controls with step-by-step instructions. 📖 Everyday uses Read a small label, inspect a spreadsheet cell, check part of a document or examine a detail on a website. Fit the frame around one line or a larger area. Adjust the magnification and position to suit your task. 🖐️ Simple controls Move the frame and drag its handles to resize it. After you tap “Done”, its dimensions stay fixed, but you can still move it. Use the free screen space outside the frame and panel to interact with the original app. The magnified copy is for viewing: tapping it does not press buttons in the original app. 🚀 Getting started 1. Open Screen Magnifier and allow it to display over other apps in Android settings. 2. Start magnification and confirm Android's screen-access request. 3. Open the document, website or app you want to view. 4. Select an area, adjust its size and magnification, then tap “Done”. 5. Move the frame to the content you need. Finish with “Stop”, the stop button on the main screen or Android's screen-sharing controls. 🔒 Screen access and privacy Magnification uses Android MediaProjection. Android asks for your permission before each new session. The app receives frames of the entire display available for capture, then extracts the selected area. Frames are processed in your phone's RAM. The app does not save them as photos, videos or a history, or send them to the developer or advertising service. Screen content is not used for advertising or text recognition. You can decline access or stop the session. 🌐 Magnification works offline The core feature requires no registration or internet connection. Yandex ads may appear on the main screen and require a network connection to load. No ads are shown during magnification. The advertising service may process technical data and available device identifiers. ℹ️ Good to know Android-protected windows may not appear. The app enlarges the existing image; it cannot restore missing detail. After rotating the screen, start a new session. Requires Android 8.0 or later. The app does not request direct access to the camera or microphone. ✉️ Support and suggestions Email: vicvoc2@gmail.com Website: https://poleznoapp.com/
