Word duels: Ghost, Word Ladder, Anagram Duel. Vs AI or a friend, offline.
Word Strategies is a collection of two-player word duels. Play against the computer, pass the device back and forth, or connect over WiFi or Nearby for a real head-to-head match. Everything works offline, with no accounts and no ads. THE GAMES Ghost: take turns adding one letter to a shared, growing fragment. Complete a real word of three or more letters and you lose - but leave a fragment that can't be extended into any word at all, and you lose too. Every move is a bluff: are you building toward a word only you can see, or walking into one yourself? Word Ladder: starting from a shared word, change exactly one letter at a time to form a new, real word of the same length that hasn't been used yet. Run out of legal moves on your turn and you lose. Based on Lewis Carroll's 1878 "Doublets" puzzle, turned into a race to avoid the dead ends. Anagram Duel: a shared pool of letter tiles sits between you. Tap letters to spell a real word of three or more letters, then submit - those letters are gone for good. Keep spelling until one of you can't. The pool shrinks fast, and the words you leave behind matter as much as the ones you take. FEATURES - Three word-game duels, with more on the way - Play vs a computer opponent at adjustable difficulty, or pass-and-play on one device - WiFi and Nearby (Bluetooth) multiplayer for head-to-head matches on two devices - Rules and strategy notes built into every game - Light, dark and system themes - Works completely offline - No ads, no accounts, no tracking Whether you're hunting for the word your opponent can't see coming, or racing to keep a shrinking letter pool alive, Word Strategies turns a dictionary into a battlefield.
