New in 1.2.49: - Phone Directory now takes numbers from any country. Pick the country beside the number, or type the number with its code. - Pakistani numbers work as before: +92, 92 or 03 all find the same number. - Results show the country flag next to the number. - Mobile, CNIC and Landline show when Pakistan is selected.
Record SIM & WhatsApp calls with Bluetooth, plus caller ID to find any number.
Astra Recorder brings Bluetooth call recording to supported Android phones. Save SIM and WhatsApp conversations while using a compatible headset, then find and replay them in one organized timeline. Phone Directory and caller ID for Pakistan Got a call from an unknown number? Search it and see the name it is listed under, with the mobile network and city. Works for Jazz, Zong, Telenor and Ufone numbers and for landlines. Sync your contacts to build a smarter directory, and look up a caller straight from a recording. The same lookup is on the web at metacyberguru.com/phone-directory. Listings come from a third party directory, and you can ask for your number removed or your account deleted by email. Set up before your first call Call recording requires guided setup with ADB Nexus, a separate app. Advanced recording needs Android 12 or newer and the phone's main user profile. Follow the in-app instructions to enable Developer options, pair through wireless debugging and activate the recording helper. Keep the helper and call monitoring ready. You may need to reconnect after restarting your phone or if Android stops the app or helper. SIM and internet-call readiness are checked separately. Record, find and listen - Record supported SIM and WhatsApp voice calls with a Bluetooth headset. - Enable automatic recording for supported calls. - Capture voice memos manually from the timeline. - Search, sort and filter your saved recordings. - Star important recordings so they are easier to find. - Geotag a recording with where it happened. Off unless you switch it on. - Play recordings back in the app. - Choose app-lock, local protection and backup settings. - Control optional usage analytics and crash reports. For voice memos, select that option during setup. You can set up calls later. Who uses a call recorder People who agree things over the phone and need the exact wording later. Support and sales staff, anyone on a long call with a bank or a landlord, researchers recording interviews, and people who just want a quick voice memo. Your recordings stay yours Recordings are encrypted on the device. Nothing is uploaded anywhere unless you set up a backup yourself and point it at storage you control. - Lock the app behind a PIN so recordings are not open to whoever picks up your phone. - Back up to your own Google Drive, or to your own FTP server, on your schedule. - Show caller names from your contacts if you grant contact access. Skip it and recordings are listed by number. Check your phone and headset Recording support and the voices captured depend on the phone, Android version, carrier, calling app and audio route. Before relying on Astra, make a short test call and listen back for both voices. Test SIM and WhatsApp calls separately with the headset you plan to use. Helper readiness alone does not guarantee audible call audio. What Astra does not do It does not record anything without the Bluetooth setup described above, and it does not work around Android's call recording restrictions. It cannot capture audio on every handset. If your phone, your carrier or the calling app blocks the audio route, no app fixes that, and it is better to find out in a two minute test than after a call that mattered. Requirements Android 12 or newer for advanced recording, the phone's main user profile, a compatible Bluetooth headset, and the one time ADB Nexus setup. Voice memos work without any of it. Record only where lawful and obtain consent when required. Astra Recorder by MetaCyberGuru. Privacy policy: https://www.metacyberguru.com/astra-recorder-privacy/ Support: https://www.metacyberguru.com/astra-recorder/ Both sides of the call. A Bluetooth headset captures the caller and you, not just your microphone, where Android blocks ordinary call recording. No root required. A two way call recorder for SIM calls and WhatsApp calls, with no root, for people who need a record of what was actually said.
