Understand your phone's satellite reception with GPS Test: GNSS Lab Pro.
Check live GPS status, run an accuracy test and record raw GNSS measurements for further analysis.
From a quick signal check to a longer stationary test, explore satellite geometry, signal quality and position drift in one interface. Designed for field diagnostics, GIS work, device testing and GNSS research.
GPS status and satellite skyplot
• View satellites in the skyplot by azimuth and elevation.
• Distinguish satellites in view from those used in the position fix.
• Monitor GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS, NavIC and SBAS where supported.
• Check fix status, satellite counts, time to first fix, UTC and local time.
Signal analysis and L1/L5 monitoring
• Inspect per-satellite C/N0 signal levels in dB-Hz, with minimum, average and maximum readings.
• Monitor dual-frequency signals, including GPS L1/L5 and Galileo E1/E5a, on compatible devices.
• Filter displayed satellite data by constellation, frequency band, elevation and signal level.
• Review signal attenuation indicators to investigate weak reception and possible multipath effects.
GPS accuracy tests and position drift
• Run stationary tests for 60 seconds, 5 minutes, 10 minutes or a custom duration.
• Visualize position samples on a scatter plot.
• Review CEP50, CEP95, RMS, 2DRMS and maximum horizontal drift relative to the test reference position.
• Monitor reported horizontal and vertical accuracy alongside HDOP, VDOP and PDOP satellite geometry indicators.Raw GNSS and RINEX logger
• Record pseudorange, Doppler and carrier-phase/accumulated delta range (ADR) data when available.
• Export RINEX 3.04 observation files (.obs) for external GNSS post-processing.
• Continue recording with the screen off using background logging.
• Export NMEA, CSV and GeoJSON files for review and analysis.
NMEA 0183 terminal
• Read the live NMEA feed from your device's receiver.
• Inspect messages such as GGA, RMC, GSA and GSV.
• Review available fix quality, geoid height and dilution of precision data.
Coordinates and receiver capabilities
• Display coordinates in decimal degrees, DDM, DMS, UTM, MGRS or ECEF XYZ.
• View WGS84 ellipsoidal altitude and NMEA mean sea level altitude where available.
• Check support for dual-frequency reception, raw measurements, carrier phase, automatic gain control and navigation messages.
Offline field use
Run satellite diagnostics and record measurements without an internet connection. Logs are stored locally on your device for later export.
Available constellations, frequency bands and measurement fields depend on your phone's GNSS hardware and Android implementation. Accuracy statistics describe the recorded samples and test reference; they do not guarantee survey-grade positioning.
Check reception, examine your results and keep the data you need for your next analysis.
