Sensory play for autistic kids, with water, ripples and gentle lights
Sensory Garden is a sensory play app for autistic children, with simple touch interactions and settings that families can adjust to their child's preferences. Touch the water. Float a leaf. Drop a stone and watch the ripples spread. Explore at your own pace, without scores, timers or required steps. MAKE A WATER GARDEN Arrange leaves, flowers and stones in your own pond. Leaves and flowers float with the water, while stones splash and settle beneath the surface. Move your finger to create currents and watch nearby plants drift. Undo and redo recent edits as you arrange your garden. SAVE FAMILIAR PLACES Start with Quiet water, Flower garden, Stone islands or an empty pond. Keep up to six ponds, give them names and return to a familiar arrangement. Ponds are saved on your device. THREE WAYS TO PLAY Water Garden: arrange a pond and explore water movement. Ripples: a simple water surface that responds to touch. Particles: flowing lights that follow your fingers. ADJUST THE EXPERIENCE Choose gentle, flowing or lively movement in the garden. Adjust ripple brightness and choose a colour palette. Turn optional touch sounds or ambient audio on or off. Garden touch sounds have their own volume control. Sound is off by default. Pause the garden when you want the water and plants to stay still. Screen lock hides settings and editing controls; double-tap the lock badge to leave it. MADE FOR OPEN-ENDED PLAY No accounts, in-app purchases or advertising interruptions during play. The play activities work offline. There is no winning, losing or pressure to finish. Every child's sensory preferences are different. A parent or caregiver can explore the settings and choose what feels comfortable for their child. Sensory Garden offers play activities, not medical treatment or therapy. Previously called Autism Sensory Canvas. Existing saved ponds and preferences stay on your device when you update the app.
