The Recent Notes Dashboard widget showing my last 15 notes is exactly what I needed. I can scroll through everything without opening the app. I use Notely as a work log and being able to glance at my last few entries from the home screen saves me so much time. The fact that it updates automatically whenever I add or change something is the detail that makes it actually useful, So I give it a 4 ✌🏽
Morning intention at 7am, afternoon check-in at 1pm, evening reflection at 9pm and a custom one I named "Commute Brain Dump" at 6pm. Each one has a different prompt theme and I've actually started looking forward to them. The rotating prompts mean it never feels repetitive. Whoever wrote those prompts clearly thought about them — they're not generic, they actually make you think.
I almost skipped the reminder feature because I assumed it would be annoying. A friend convinced me to try it for a week. The key difference from other reminder apps is the prompts are actually interesting — they're not just "time to journal!" They give you something to respond to. The afternoon one asking "what needs adjusting before the day ends?" has genuinely helped me finish my days better. Converted skeptic.
A good app with beautiful Interface. Easy to use but needs more features or upgrade.
For someone like me who always thinks "I'll record that later" and then forgets, removing that one extra step was everything. Free feature too which I wasn't expecting.
I downloaded like 3 journaling apps this year and abandoned all of them within a week. What's different about Notely is the morning reminder actually prompts me with something worth answering — not just "don't forget to journal!" but like "what would make today feel like a true success?" That question hit different at 8am and now I've been recording voice notes every morning for 6 weeks straight. Habit finally formed.

Hi Kenny, thanks for your feedback. Just to clarify, our sign-in method is Google Sign-In, which is widely used and trusted by most users. Since you're also downloading the app through the Google Play Store, which is itself a Google platform, this felt like a natural fit. We don't use any third-party sign-up options.
I work in tech so when I try an app I check how actively it's maintained. The release history on Play Store shows consistent updates and the dev actually responds to reviews. That matters to me— it means if something breaks it'll get fixed. The app itself is good: clean UI, reliable transcription, no bloat. Auto-save was added quickly after users complained which is a good sign. Keeping this one long-term.
