The camera uses OCR to read and determine expiry dates and expiration dates.
The camera uses OCR to read expiration dates and best before dates and determines whether they are in the past or future of the reference date. This is an app that checks expiration dates using OCR. Please see the homepage for operating instructions. https://oedc.mswss.com/ OCR reading often results in garbled characters due to low print quality and other reasons, and this app is no exception, but it's worth a try. Please test thoroughly to see if it can withstand operation before using it.
