It is a very helpful app for English speakers trying to learn Simhala. I am funding all if my words off of this app and it makes it easy to learn. I highly recommend this app for people looking for a free way to learn Sinhala.

Easy words and phrases for the complete beginner to grasp. Test your knowledge with the flash cards and listen to the correct pronunciation of the word. I'm almost a complete beginner, having forgotten many of the words learnt as a child. Now older, wishing to connect with family in Sri Lanka, the app so far has assisted me. I like being able to hear how each word sounds. Frequent use of the app and repetition is key.
