Nest Cameras rarely work with the app. Installing new cameras doesn't work, watching your cams sure as hell doesn't work. Nest products are garbage all around--their high prices are a surreal and detached kick to the nuts. Edit 2026: where are my devices? Where are my login creds? This app will never ever share its secrets.

Garbage. Doesn't correctly register whether phone is home, so it keeps setting my thermostat to "away" when I'm home, despite having all correct permissions, battery settings, etc. If I force stop the app and open it again, it suddenly knows that I'm home. The issue is 100% with the Nest app. What is the point of having this system if I need to manually screw around with it every time I want the thermostat to be active?

was Good and easy to use, I I can no longer log into app sebds you into a endless cycle of sign into Google account which never works. don't waste your money on this product, as it looks like Google has stopped supporting the thermostat.

Love it! However if the thermostat is not seeing people around - it may keep temperature really low.
