Tilt-shift blur that turns real streets into tiny models. Offline, on-device.
Miniature Photo turns an ordinary picture into something that looks like a tiny model. It keeps one strip of the photo sharp, melts everything else away with a real depth-of-field blur, and lifts the colour until a real street reads like a model railway layout. You do it all by dragging on the photo itself. Everything happens on your phone — nothing is uploaded, no account is needed, and it works with no internet connection.
🚂 One tap to the toy-model look
Four ready-made looks: Model village, Toy town, Soft focus and Portrait pop. Tap one and the photo changes immediately. Every look is a starting point, not a wall — adjust anything afterwards and the picture follows.
🎯 Two shapes of focus
• A band — a straight strip you drag, turn and widen. This is the classic tilt-shift look for anything seen from above: a street, a harbour, a square full of people.
• A spot — a circle you drag and resize, for when one person or one sign is the subject.
Both have a soft edge you set yourself, so the sharp part never ends with a visible line.
✋ Adjusted right on the photo
Drag the focus to move it. Turn it with two fingers. Pinch to make it wider. Pull the handles to set the width and how gently the blur fades in. Sliders are there too if you want an exact number, but you never have to dig for them.
🌫️ Blur that behaves like a lens
The blur grows with distance from the focus instead of sitting on the whole picture at one strength. That gradual falloff is what makes a photo look miniature — a single flat blur just looks like a blurry photo with a sharp sticker on it.
🎨 The miniature look
Colour, contrast and a gentle warmth shift, each on its own slider. The defaults already read as "toy model"; push them further for plastic-bright, or pull them back when you want the photo to stay believable.
👀 Before and after
Press and hold the photo to see the original underneath. Let go and the effect comes back.
💾 Save or share
Save to your gallery or send it to a message, and the exported file matches what you saw, rendered at the photo's full resolution with the same framing. Your original photo is never modified.
⚙️ Your choices
Pick the look new photos start with, set the export quality, and decide whether the saved file keeps the camera details and GPS location from the original or drops them.
👋 Meet Lensy
Lensy, the little lens with a toy train, says hello at the first start and turns up when a photo is saved. Friendly, never in the way.
🔒 Private and offline
Photos are read, rendered and written entirely on your device. There is no server, no account and no tracking of your pictures. The only Android permission the app asks for is the camera, and only if you choose to shoot a new photo — picking a photo you already have needs no permission at all.
