low quality app. Why does the search icon disappear sometimes? Why is the largest available font so small? why does it so easily flip into another column unbidden?

I have been shuffled around by an unsolicited email by different trial offers. I will not subscribe because of this.
insane how the one of the biggest media companies in America can have an app so slow/bad/buggy, same with the Games app.
Forces you to subscribe, althought says its free. Then you see later in the fine print that it will automatically subscribe and renew. Not that you consented to this. Now im trying to delete the account and cannot find any way to delete the subscription. Seriously will never use this type of service its pathetic in the way it tries to lock you in and make unsubscribing impossible. Should be illegal.
Too Many Ads! Scrolling Is A Nightmare!!
I once subscribed to the Washington Post after them constantly begging for a subscription and only allowing me to read partial articles. Then they basically made it impossible for me to read them anyway. This app isn't that. Super easy to use. I've had it a week and I love it. You choose what interests you, they give you the headlines on your phone, you simply tap the headline, it takes you to a page where there's more in-depth headlines, another tap, and you're reading a well-written article.
The scrolling is horrible, when there's an ad in the way, user cannot scroll through and only every 2 or 3 touch will register.
