Love the 1st space grunts game, ditch the cards and be like original space grunts game, don't like the addition of cards, for me needs to be like original game, be great if you did same like heroes of loot 2, also the ability to explore the planet more is a good idea

Can't look at Entities, cards, or any of the information on anything in the game when it fails to scroll or register taps on the UI. gameplay works, but half the game is no functional.
Fantastic dungeon crawling in bite sized form. Love the original and this version
It's faster than the original & you can play in portrait view. There's an annoying pause between yourself & enemies playing cards against each other that gets irritating. The randomness is still there but things like random comets should be taken out because they ruin the game. Environments repeat after a few playthroughs. You have to run into enemies for combat so no more ranged combat. The original imo is a better game with more depth & exploration. Only buy when on sale.

More planet roaming than part 1. Better tactical battles but dislike you can't aim/fire anymore. Rather had cards as equipment that needs to be collected and wears out when player fires/moves X times. Manual aiming/firing as in part 1 would still be required.

The game loop for Space Grunts 2 is too long and too much work to be a really great game. Some really good card and roguelike elements are put together here.

I feel conflicted about this game, and somewhat guilty for leaving a lower review. I can see that it's well made, but my experience just isn't what I expected. The tutorials that exist are helpful, but after three runs I have no sense of whether there's any progression between runs, what my stats do and whether putting more time into this game will have me feeling more invested. A link to a guide or manual would help, I guess?

Sorry not worth the price of admission... No depth

I don't get the game. I'm a big fan of deck building games but how are you supposed to build your deck when you have no idea what the items are doing. Am I missing something? Why is there no pop up for the pickups or some form of detailed view?

“A fantastic sequel to a great game.”
“I usually don't care much for deck-building games because my small brain quickly gets overwhelmed with options, but this doesn't have that effect on me.”
“And no ads, no PTW and no BS too!”
