Do you know this? It's the Treasury Direct website, when you try to see the value on the yield curve by opening each bond individually.
The Treasury on the Yield Curve does this calculation on your cell phone, for your entire portfolio, and shows the market value next to it. The yield curve is calculated on the device itself and continues to appear even without internet access.
YEAR CURVE OR MARKET?
The balance that appears on the Treasury Direct website and in your brokerage account is the market value: how much the Treasury would pay for your bond in a redemption today. It goes up and down with current interest rates, and sometimes turns red.
The yield curve value is something else entirely: how much your money earns following exactly the rate you contracted, day after day, until maturity. For those who hold the bond until maturity, this is the number that counts. The market value only comes into play in a redemption before maturity.
WHAT THE APP SHOWS
• Invested value, value on the curve, and market value, per security and in the entire portfolio
• The difference between market and curve, in % and in R$: "the market is 2.1% above its curve"
• Profitability based solely on price, as on the Treasury website, and also adding coupons already received
• Net redemption value in estimate, with income tax according to the regressive table, IOF (tax on financial transactions) in the first 30 days, and B3 custody fee
• Date and time of prices always visible, so you know when each number is from
• Light, dark, or automatic theme, following your phone
IMPORT THE STATEMENT WITHOUT TYPING
Export the Analytical Statement from the Treasury Direct portal (one file per security) and choose the file in the app. Contributions are entered with the numbers from the file, and the app checks if the lines add up to the declared total. The file is read on the phone and doesn't leave it. Once that's done, just open it and look.
Prefer to enter manually? Also available: fill in two fields (total value, quantity, and unit price), and the third will be automatically calculated.
ALERTS, IF YOU WANT:
• Notification when the difference between the market and the yield curve exceeds the limit you define.
• Daily or weekly summary of the portfolio's yield curve value.
