New: background blur in the editor. Your target stays sharp, you choose how soft the rest gets. Dashed rings show targets you can tap; if your target leaves the frame, new rings appear. Drag the photo to choose what stays in a 4:5 or square frame. The golden ratio crop keeps the shape you picked. The phone's forward tilt now counts for every scene. Manual ISO applies as you slide, with a way back to defaults. The eye lock no longer lands in the wrong place.
Golden ratio camera grid and composition guide. Tap, follow the arrow, shoot.
Spiralens is a golden ratio camera that tells you where to move your phone. A camera grid shows lines, but it does not say what to do. Spiralens turns photo composition into one small move at a time: 1. Tap your subject in the camera. 2. Follow the arrow. The app tracks what you tapped as you move. 3. Take the photo when the ring turns green. Green means the subject sits on the golden ratio point of your frame and the phone is level. You can always take the photo without waiting for green. Composition guides • Golden spiral overlay, the curve people know from the Fibonacci spiral • Golden ratio grid (phi grid) • Rule of thirds grid • Symmetry and horizon level • Presets for portraits, faces, groups, pets, food, products, landscapes, architecture and close-ups. Each one picks a fitting guide and shows where to tap. Smart help while you shoot • For people and pets, the app finds the eye nearest the camera and leaves room in the direction they are looking. • Level indicator for straight horizons. • Hints about light and camera angle: backlight, dim light, straight lines on buildings, food from the side or from above. • Optional auto capture when everything is in place. Edit after the shot • Placement and level are reported separately. • Golden ratio crop: puts your subject on the guide and tells you how much of the photo is kept. • Straighten, crop to 4:5, square, 16:9 or cinema. • Looks: Cinematic, Film, Black & white, Vivid, Matte. • Automatic light and color editing, or adjust by hand. • Frame photos from your gallery the same way. Your photos stay on your phone Face detection and all photo editing run on the device. Photos are never uploaded and there is no account. Saving to the gallery makes a separate copy; the original is kept. Free version and purchase The free version shows ads from Google and adds a small Spiralens mark to photos you share. The camera screen never shows ads. One purchase removes ads and the mark for good, including future updates. Available in English, Türkçe, Español, Português, Bahasa Indonesia, Русский, Deutsch, Français, 日本語 and العربية. The golden ratio is a framing aid. It does not prove a photo is beautiful, and Spiralens does not claim it does.
