Packingbird — Packing List App

This app has a lot of potential, but it seems to have been left without active development (last update was in 2023). It’s the closest I’ve found to the kind of packing app I’ve been looking for, with features that are hard to find elsewhere. However, the performance is noticeably slow and laggy, and the interface would really benefit from some updates and refinements.

FINALLY! a free app for packing with the possibility to add images in a modern UI !! I love this app, only critique is the ability to view items in a card view as well as the current list view when we have them under categories

Perfect packing list, simple, has features I need. it's a bit buggy, but nothing super breaking

Was looking for a new packing app after my old one got discontinued (PackKing). This one seems a great alternative - clean UI, easy to use, custom items and categories, custom and pre-made templates, allows for multiple lists and archiving. Two suggestions that would bump this up to five stars: (1) Would love to be able to collapse categories. I have very detailed lists and it takes a while to scroll thru everything. (2) Would also like to be able to hide the pre-made lists on the home screen.

I really like this packing app. I've tried 4 or 5 others and ended up abandoning them after trying to set them up because they didn't have the versatility that I needed. I need an app that would let me create my own categories & move things around, and Packingbird is the only app that let me do everything that I wanted. I've been using it for 2 years now, I'm pretty sure I finally found my packing app.

Can't use it without providing an email address. Don't see why. Uninstalled immediately.

Didnt give 5 star because it requires internet connection for the list. This can cause privacy breach. Why it requires internet connection for the list, I couldn't understand.

This app seems very polished. It syncs automatically across devices which is a must for how I use these apps. I'm not sure it's still being updated but I think being able to collapse complete categories would be great, and sorting completed tasks to the bottom of the category would help. Also, a dark mode would be much appreciated! I would definitely pay an in app purchase for some of these features and I think others would too, but the functionality for the free app is already really good!

A bit tricky in the beginning. But once I got the logic, actually very simple.

I really like this app overall. It's easy to use. I really like the templates. The only thing I wish it has is a 'To Do' List for before the trip which is why I won't be using it for my upcoming trip.
