love it

Your programmers are honestly the best — every enhancement to the app is a wonderful one. My favorite: the recording badges. At a glance I can see which programs "Will record" and which are "Upcoming," so I know exactly which one to flip to record. No research needed — one tap on the title, hit save, and you're done. Thank you for sweating the small details that make the app such a joy to use. — A very happy subscriber

Its amazing, great UI, fast, easy to understand, great selection for the price, finally, live TV without the huge price hikes! Thank you Philo

this app is scummy. you have to request account deletion and can take up to 45 days, but they'll let you sign up in less than 5 minutes

cost too much

★★★★★Johns B11 Oct 2026

Definitely not free; $29/month

Developer reply

Philo actually does have a free option! We offer 150+ free channels with no subscription or credit card required at philo.tv/free-channels. And our Essential plan is $25/month when billed directly through us at philo.com! If you're seeing a higher price, it's likely due to taxes or a surcharge from a third-party biller like Apple or Google.

Their cheapest is $25 a month with ads and they do not give refund. This app is a rip off. I would not recommend this app to anyone.

To avoid ads altogether, you can enable Philo Vault to record everything that airs on Philo. Once it's aired, you can skip the ads. You can learn how to enable Philo Vault here: https://help.philo.com/using-philo/philo-vault/ We also offer a totally free option at philo.tv/free-channels.
