Photo Vault keeps your private photos and videos in an encrypted vault that looks — and works — like an ordinary calculator. The app opens as a working calculator: add, subtract, percentages, decimals. Type your secret PIN and press = three times, and the calculator opens your vault. If you want, turn on "Disguise as calculator" in Settings and the app also appears on your home screen as "Calculator" with a calculator icon, so nobody scrolling through your phone sees a "vault" app. You can switch back at any time. WHY PHOTO VAULT • Real encryption, not just a hidden folder: every file is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it enters the vault. • Keys are protected by the Android Keystore (hardware-backed where available) and your PIN. The PIN itself is never stored. • 100% offline: the app has no internet permission at all. No accounts, no cloud, no analytics, no ads. • Nothing leaves your phone. Thumbnails, file names and album names are encrypted too. HIDE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS • Import from your gallery with the system photo picker, or pick any file. • Each import is verified by full decryption before you are asked whether to remove the original. • Videos play straight from the encrypted file, inside the vault. • Pinch to zoom, swipe between items, see details such as size, dimensions and date. STAY ORGANISED • Albums, favorites and a trash that lets you restore items deleted by mistake. • Search by name, album, date or type. Search stays on the device. • Choose grid size, sort order and thumbnail quality. • Restore to gallery: take any item back out of the vault; the copy is verified before anything is removed. LOCKED DOWN • Optional fingerprint or face unlock as a second step after the PIN. • Auto-lock immediately, or after 30 seconds, 1 minute or 5 minutes. • Screenshot and screen-recording protection inside the vault. • Vault content is hidden from the recent-apps screen. • Progressive delays after repeated wrong PINs. The vault is never wiped. • Backups are disabled, so encrypted files never end up in a cloud backup. MADE FOR YOU • Light, dark or system theme, with optional Material You colours. • English, Turkish and Arabic, with full right-to-left support. • Works on Android 9 and newer. IMPORTANT • There is no PIN recovery, by design. If you forget your PIN the vault cannot be opened, not even by us. • Uninstalling the app deletes the vault. Restore your items to the gallery first. • No security is absolute. Keep a device lock enabled and keep your PIN private. Photo Vault contains no ads and no tracking. Your photos are yours.
