I beat the game after a few attempts and it doesn't really feel like there's anything more to the game afterwards. The gameplay would lean itself really well to be more of a roguelite. Every enemy in the 5 available stages is scripted so after you beat it once it's kinda done.
Good idea, some problems with implementation. The biggest one is controls - your character moves towards your finger but you'll need to do a lot of tight loops and it's hard to predict which direction it'll turn in, so I kept dying when it turned in a direction I didn't expect. Next, every deck builder game I've ever played has some way to tell what cards do during a game, usually by long pressing on them. Not this one!

the idea is cool but the lack of a tutorial and clunky controls make for a deeply annoying experience.

My favourite game that I'm terrible at.
The controlling is awful. You have to basically drag the character with your thumb covering the game, instead of having a proper joystick.

Seems like a good idea. But there's no tutorial to teach you the specifics, and the game isn't straightforward. Everything you touch seems to hurt you, but you can't get cards otherwise. There's also practice levels that are locked? Why would you lock the practice stages? Even on Play Pass this isn't worth playing unless the dev includes some sort of tutorial or manual.

I don't understand how to play. I am not a stupid person, but with no tutorial I am lost. I play games for fun and to unwind, this game only frustrated me. I'm glad that some people think it's self explanatory, I say no, no it's not. Thank you, but, no thank you.

Well made but limited

Really fun game to try and 100% but also to just boot up when you got nothing better to do for a short while strong recommend for anyone who enjoys the vampire survivors type games

“A deceptively challenging but incredibly elegant mix between bullet hells, card games, and roguelikes.”
“Combining bullet hell and card game sounds like an insane idea and I was curious how it could ever work, but now I'm hooked.”
