The app seems solid for gold krugerrands, as I'm getting 3/3 frequencies detected for my kruger. I got 2 out of 3 frequencies for a Silver 80% coin on the kruger gold test. Other ping apps would've passed this silver coin for gold. But with pingcoin, silver is picked up way better. Of course 2/3 still means not Gold. While Gold will score 3/3. This means the app is working well. I'm impressed that silver coins are caught out - which other ping apps can't do. Keep it up.

Hi Niel, Thanks so much for the positive words. Such feedback keeps me going. There are known overlapping acoustic profiles, even across gold-silver coins. Works great! I wish it had more variety. All fractional size for silver and gold Libertad would be very helpful.

Great tool for buying with peace if mind.
Rubbish app unless all you want is American coins. Tried to find common Pre-1947 Non-Decimal Coins and they didn't have any nor allowed me to add them.

valid app, but it does not recognise the 2026 Gold Sovereign due to its yellow-gold alloy profile. Can you please provide an update to include this recent coin in the database? Many thanks

Best example why you should turn off auto update. they made it paid after 10 pings per month. not day, MONTH. before it was just free for years. and the main feature stayed the same. good thing i still have another phone with an older version, that i wont "update".
