Six Sudoku variants to explore • Classic Sudoku: Enjoy the familiar 9x9 grid. Fill each row, column and 3x3 box with the numbers 1–9 without repeats. • Mini Sudoku: Try compact 4x4 and 6x6 puzzles. Smaller grids offer a welcoming introduction and their own logical challenges. • Killer Sudoku: Combine Sudoku rules with cage totals. Each cage must add up to its target sum without repeated digits. • X Sudoku: Add a diagonal twist. Both main diagonals must also contain the numbers 1–9 without repeats. • Jigsaw Sudoku: Explore irregular Sudoku, where shaped regions replace the usual square boxes. • Samurai Sudoku: Work through five overlapping grids. Shared cells connect the puzzles; zoom and pan to explore the board. In-game guides explain each variant so you can discover a different way to solve. Understand your next move Sudoku hints help you follow the reasoning. Focus on the relevant cells, explore the explanation, and work through the deduction step by step. Learn why a number belongs in a cell or why a candidate can be eliminated. Choose how far to follow a hint before continuing on your own. If no supported logical hint is available, you can reveal a cell to move forward. Your progress across devices Start a puzzle on your Android phone and continue on your tablet. Sign in with the same Google Play Games account to sync completed puzzles and games in progress. You can keep playing offline, with progress saved on your device. An internet connection is required to sync between devices. Make the board work for you • Use pencil notes to keep track of possible numbers. • Undo and redo moves as you solve. • Check for errors when you need help. • Customize number and cell highlighting. • Choose larger numbers and a keypad layout that suits you. • Switch between light and dark themes. • Show or hide the timer. • Save unfinished puzzles and return to them later.
