new update stinks! the size of the puzzle has been reduced and the background has changed. I liked the white puzzle. new is not better! loved this game before the update!

The new design on the main game is terrible. There was nothing wrong with how it was before.
blinking ad is so bad edit: the worst offending ad seems to be removed, so that's nice, but the update has messed up all my progress! I don't know what happened, but all the medium puzzles i was working through and trying to improve my times on are all scattered everywhere. Now I'm not sure which times belong where, and (somewhat insultingly) they all seem to have been demoted to "easy!" I boosted it to 4 stars for removing that terrible ad, but took a star off for messing my stuff up.

Please update the game and check the latest version, there are way less ads now!
I like the old design better. I'd like the option to choose. The menus are fine, but I prefer the design of the previous game grid

What exactly was better? Are you talking about the menu part or the main game/puzzle screen?
The recent overhaul completely ruined what used to be a great, classic app. Forcing multiple variants into one bloated menu isn't the worse part for me. It was that the new puzzle generator no longer allows for "fun logic." Instead of providing a single, clean mathematical solution, the boards now trap you at the end, leaving the player needing to guess instead of using that fun logic that makes us love Sudoku. If I'm wrong, I guess you'll see no decrease in downloads.

You don't need to guess anything, all puzzles are pre generated and verified for unique solutions. What you might be observing is that the difficulties were adjusted. What used to be an Evil difficulty was actually not that Evil and has been reclassified as Medium. If you want to experience the same as before, I suggest playing Easy/Medium.
Please let me roll back to the previous version. It was the perfect sudoku app before the recent update(s?). At least put the layout of the games and the clean visuals back to the way they used to be. Why the smaller, cluttered board and number pad. More intrusive blue cell locator overlay too :(

Fantastic game, and great dev! I had issues with the new update but after just one day they got a fixed version out! Thanks dev for your quick responses ☺️

The new "update" is harsh on the eyes. I preferred the previous setup. *Still prefer the old version. Though the expansions were nice.
