Photo identification, insignia catalogue and offline reference tools.
Document the visual details and possible matches of military insignia. START WITH YOUR PHOTO Take a photo or choose one you already have. Add up to three views, check the details and request an AI-assisted possible match. Review the suggested identity and visible clues before confirming a record yourself. KEEP YOUR OWN INSIGNIA CATALOGUE Save photos, dates, notes and favourites. Add the details that matter to this subject: Country, Service branch, Era, Provenance. Search your records, edit them as you learn more and delete them whenever you choose. COMPARE AND LEARN Browse a small, bundled starting reference library, save useful references and compare up to three entries side by side. Use the photo and observation guides to capture clearer details. The reference library is a starting point, not an exhaustive catalogue. TOOLS FOR YOUR HOBBY Use the display planner alongside your collection. Keep a separate journal for observations and questions you want to revisit. YOUR RECORDS STAY WITH YOU No account is required. Saved records, photos, favourites and journal notes stay on your device. Export a complete JSON backup, restore a compatible backup or export your records as CSV. Choose reduced motion for gentler transitions. PHOTO IDENTIFICATION NEEDS INTERNET Only the photos you choose to identify are sent through our Cloudflare service to OpenRouter and its AI providers. Device identifiers and limited request metadata support security and service usage controls. Offline collection and reference features remain available without a connection. AI identification is subject to availability and fair-use controls; purchasing the app does not provide unlimited requests. REVIEW EVERY MATCH AI suggestions can be wrong or incomplete. Results do not establish authenticity, entitlement, provenance or value. This is an independent collecting reference.
