I have a Chromecast and with Plex I will never go back to cable. Update. Years ago I migrated to roku, the new app update is awful. Almost want to go back to cable. Update 2. The Roku app is now mostly usable and intuitive, just a little slow.

Easy to setup, works a treat with trouble-free motoring. Update: New Android version is slick but watch the latest UI changes in Fire TV version. Its garbage and I backdated my stick using downloader version.

All of a sudden there's no way to watch your own media on the mobile version??? Or if there is, they've absolutely buried it. Why??? That's all I use Plex for, so the app has basically been completely broken for me. R.I.P. to shredding paperwork while watching faves from my own library at work, I guess!
What happened?! Where are my media libraries?! I genuinely hate Plex now, and I'm a lifetime paid plan member. How do you do this, guys? How do you screw it up this bad?!?!
the new ui update has ruined the experience for me and my family. buggy and slow. considering alternatives now.

From 5 stars to 1. Recent updates have made this app unresponsive and ultimately unusable. media frequently fails to play, skip intro/outro causes playback to fail, remote streaming isn't working, navigating is a nightmare due to the lag... they all worked perfectly a month ago. it wouldn't be so bad if plex actually communicated with its customers, especially those who are plex pass subscribers!
