Tree months in, this app for budgeting has made a noticeable difference. I'm not magically spending nothing, but I know what I can afford before I buy something. That has removed a lot of guilt and end-of-month stress. Pleeeeease add more emoji!!!!

This app gives me a clear budget I can check in seconds. There is a learning curve, but in my opinion the videos thay have on YouTube make it much easier. Three months in, PocketGuard has completely changed how I approach money. I'm actually saving now and can spend on things like a night out guilt-free because I know exactly how much I have allocated. I am impressed with how well it handles credit cards. Amazing tool!

This is the first budget app I've paid for and continued using. I like the clean overview, especially the way transactions and categories come together. It isn't perfect, but I spend far less time maintaining it than I did with Goodbudget...

worked great for about 2 years with some syncing issues sporadically. now hasn't synced in about a month with no ETA or updates for potential fix.
Developer reply
Hi Eddie, We're truly sorry for the ongoing syncing issues and the frustration this has caused. Please know that we're still actively working on your case and doing our best to get this resolved. We understand how important reliable syncing is and sincerely apologize for the prolonged inconvenience. Thank you for your patience.
Update: Don't bother paying for subscription if your bank is RBC. Transactions cannot sync. Contacted tech support. The only solution is to manually add the account to your profile over and over again. initial review: Paid for premium account. Transactions cannot be tracked for certain banks, rendering the app useless

Hi Joe, We're really sorry for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, some banks do experience synchronization issues, but we do our best to investigate and resolve each case individually. If you haven't already, please reach out to us at support@pocketguard.com so we can take a closer look at your specific situation and try to help.
I used to look at my bank balance and assume I was doing fine. This budget tracker showed me that small purchases and recurring charges were eating up more than I throught. That visibility has helped me make better decisions without feeling like I can't spend anything.
