PoolSync

At first it seemed to work but, was extremely limited in its capabilities. All of a sudden, it TOTALLY ceased working, Symbiont (that sold it to us) says we now need to deal with yet another vendor. Both are a BIG DISSAPOINTMENT!

All the terrible reviews are correct. If you can get it to connect at all you have to make every change many times for it to take. I had it "working" this way for weeks & then suddenly the app can't connect anymore. No amount of removing/adding the device, rebooting, reinstalling helps.

Garbage App and Garbage Company (AquaCal). Non existent customer service. I had to wait 3 weeks for a service call. Had the tech hook up the Pool Sync controller, got it connected to my WiFi and the app keeps saying it needs a firmware update. Hit the update button, and right back to the needs firmware update screen. Restarted the network, restarted the heater / PoolSync, restarted my phone, wiped app cache and data to no avail.... Straight Trash!!!

Needs work! Extremely limited in most important aspects when paired with latest Tropical heat pump: 1. No indication if the heat pump is running 2. Alerts present on the heat pump LCD do not get displayed in the app's Alert tab 3. No activity or log history 4. The heat pump LCD has useful information such as compressor temperatures, pool In/Out temperatures, etc... that don't carry over into the app

I can't seem to even get past the account verification process. it's asking me to put in the code from an email but the keyboard won't come up. I'm using a Galaxy S24

This app finds the device but refuses to join on two different phones Apple and Droid. Yes I know my wifi password.

Tha app wil not properly save state changes to the pump. set auto, come back and it is boost. set heat and come back and it might be auto. temp setpoint seems to stick but not modes.

A week ago I would've given 5 stars, this week has been hell. My husband (Not techy at all) went to turn the light on in the pool and managed to delete the device off our app. I thought "hey no big deal, the unit is 1 month old and we had it going once..." Nope, I spent hours for 4 days trying to add it back. Finally day 4 I get it back on, but now if my phone's not at home/home wifi... the app shows no device. can't control it from anywhere like I had been able to.

since update app not showing real time adjustments on pool heater? was fine before update ! Have to close out app then open up app to see real time adjustments
