used to work but now nothing shows up locally. keeps going to remote access it is same with my Lenovo tablet

awful, super slow if it works. it used to be a lot better

doesn't allow me to put pictures for my zone, it says I need to accept the permissions but they are accepted... images disappear on zones that already have them and app fails to load some sections

This was a great remote control for my sprinkler system when I purchased it. unfortunately RainMachine changed their model a few years in and charges you for remote control of your system. completely defeats the purpose. Don't waste your time or money with Rain machine.

Local control no longer works. Was working fine for me until a recent Android OS update on my S22 ultra. Like others have reported, I can no longer connect to the controller via IP address in the app. However, my old Tab 2 tablet still works with the app and controller. Devs, please update the app to work with the latest Android OS updates. Thx.

Do not buy a Rain Machine. Remote access changed to a paid service after purchase and local access no longer works through the app no matter what you try. Local access still works through a web browser for now. I recommend moving to another irrigation controller if you are looking for the ability to control the system through a phone app or web browser.

6/3/2023 Update app is still unreliable ever since they rolled out the premium version, now the premium advertisement doesn't allow me to access the program unless I purchase. I am so disappointed and frustrated. Now you get to pay for the app and it doesn't work anymore 😒 7/21/24 still having problems. 8/27/2024 application is garbage, even through port connection, spent days working with my internet service provider and research online now that doesn't even work. 7-30-2026: App is terrible.

I paid more than 300 bucks to remotely use my irrigation system, now I can't use because I have to pay a monthly subscription. Don't buy a rainmachine system!!!!! Don't waste your money! I'm very disappointed!!!

I used to be able to walk around my yard and test the Zones on my sprinkler system when the app was directly connected to my sprinkler controller via WiFi, now it doesn't work at all. I can still access my sprinkler controller via a browser on my phone, so this tells me that app itself has problems that Rain Machine needs to fix.

This is the worst app I've ever used. Spent an hour rebooting the device and trying to restore remote access. Can reboot from my phone and states connection ok but doesn't allow me to do anything else.
