Always-running samurai, one-hit duels. Play online, vs CPU or 2P on one device
A samurai who never stops running. One clean hit decides it. IPPON! Samurai Duel is a two-player sword fight played with just five buttons. Your samurai is always running: ◀ and ▶ only change direction, and there is no stopping. Read the distance, then choose men, tsuki or guard. ■ Three moves • Men (overhead cut): fast, and if it is guarded you bounce apart, so you are hard to punish • Tsuki (thrust): two steps in, reaches farther, but leaves you wide open if it misses • Guard: stops both men and tsuki, with a short opening as it ends A clean hit is an ippon. First to three takes the set. Hits at the same moment are a draw. ■ Three ways to play • vs CPU: easy, normal and hard. Chase your best winning streak • Online: a quick match with someone new, or a friend room by code • 2 players on one device: share a phone or tablet ■ Also • No account. Your records stay on your device • Pick a name and a title for online play. Win more to unlock titles • Save and watch replays • Online matches connect players directly with rollback netcode for low latency • Japanese and English Online play needs an internet connection. Contains ads (never during a match).
