Really good app I just wish I had more control over the layout of the home page. Then the library page also needs a filter for recent reads being on top

Developer reply

Hello Rebecca. Thank you so much for the 4 stars! Putting your most recent reads on top of the Library is a great idea, and it's on our list for an upcoming update. We'd love to hear more about the home page: which parts would you move or hide? Write to us at readxp.app@gmail.com, your ideas could shape it. Happy reading!

looks really bad that you must Pay for adding more than 20 books and can't make export or backup

Developer reply

Hi! Thanks for your honest feedback. ReadXP is independently developed and completely ad-free. The free tier limit helps support server costs and ongoing development, but we're actively working on local export/backup options for future updates! Feel free to reach out to support with any ideas. Thanks for trying ReadXP!

Really enjoyable book tracker that allows you to do all the basics of a good book tracker but with gaming mechanics that make it addictive to use. I would like to see some features be made available for free instead of locked behind a pay wall like importing and exporting. One thing hope you update is when adding books you get to select only one genre for each book, I would like the ability to select multiple genres that each book falls into and add a DNF category to status, also add audiobooks

Developer reply

Hey Ralph! Thanks for the awesome feedback! Great news: Import/Export will be 100% free in the very next update! Multiple genres and DNF status are already on the immediate roadmap. Audiobook support is also in the works. As a small dev group, your ideas help shape ReadXP. Keep an eye out for upcoming updates!

I really like the idea. it's pretty neat. I gave it three stars because the freemium model is broken. you can add books and level up, but you can't do much else. you can't use the money to buy anything, only browse the store. it limits what's available to the point that it's kinda useless without the subscription. it has a one time $50 fee and everything's unlocked forever, which isn't horrible, but the game hasn't been around long to justify it and I can't try it cuz it's locked up.

Developer reply

Hello Sam! Thanks for the feedback. We hear you loud and clear. As a small dev group, balancing the freemium model is a journey. Good news: in the upcoming update, we are unlocking some store items & currency mechanics for free users too, so everyone can at least get their favorite gear! Give the next update a try, hope it earns that 5th star!
