I have been trying to get my redback connected to the app since April 2025. The only support is that I need to reconnect it to get back on line. I'm not sure how many times I have done this but it still doesn't work. It does connect with our electricity supplier and the app tells me that my signal is strong. This is good, but I cannot monitor it.
They keep adding all of the info you want.. very comprehensive compared to the old app. 👍
I like that I can see current state of charge but it would be excellent to set preferences for notifications such as when our battery falls below a certain percentage or the battery is full. We now have an EV with a dumb wall charger, so being able to receive alerts for our home system status would be very useful!
looks good, does nothing, support is non-existent. They may do what you ask when contacting them by email, but they may not respond by email to tell you. I wish I never went with Redback.
