Which version you take depends on when you filed Form N-400. Filed on or after October 20, 2025: the 2025 test, 128 questions, up to 20 asked, 12 right to pass. Filed earlier: the 2008 test, 100 questions, up to 10 asked, 6 to pass. The app covers both and keeps your progress separately for each.

The app speaks 14 languages. The 2008 questions come in the six translations USCIS publishes. USCIS publishes the 2025 test in English only, so the app adds its own translation, marked unofficial. The official English is always shown too.
ANSWERS THAT CHANGE
Answers that depend on who holds office or where you live are marked, dated, and filled in from your state. Your own senator, representative and governor you look up once and save.
