Precise 3D compass for flat or upright use, with magnetic interference alerts.
Compass 3D: Direction Finder gives you a steady, precise heading in a clean, game-inspired design. It works when your phone is lying flat or held upright, and it warns you when something is disturbing the compass.
PRECISE DEGREES
See your heading from 0° to 360° in large numbers, with the direction name (North, North-East, East and more). Smart filtering keeps the needle smooth, so it does not jitter or jump when you hold the phone.
WORKS FLAT OR UPRIGHT
Many compasses only work when the phone lies flat. This one keeps tracking your direction when you hold the phone upright, tilt it, or turn it sideways, so you can check your heading while walking, hiking, or looking at a map. It also adjusts when you rotate the screen.
MAGNETIC INTERFERENCE ALERT
Magnets, speakers, car bodies, metal furniture, and other electronics can throw off any compass. The app checks the strength of the magnetic field and the sensor status all the time. If something looks wrong, it tells you and shows how to calibrate with a simple figure-8 motion, so you know when to trust the reading.
3D AND 2D MODES
Switch between a glossy, tilted 3D compass and a clean flat dial. In 3D mode, drag up or down to change the viewing angle.

Hiking, camping, travel, orienteering, checking a building or room direction, reading a map, and learning how a compass works.
TIPS FOR THE BEST READING
- Keep the phone away from magnets, speakers, and metal objects.
- If the warning appears, move the phone in a figure-8 a few times.
- Stay away from other phones and electronics while calibrating.
REQUIREMENTS
Your phone needs a built-in magnetic sensor (magnetometer). Most modern phones have one.
Note: Accuracy depends on your device's sensors and the magnetic environment around you. Do not use this app as your only navigation tool in dangerous situations.
