First release of Arca for iPhone: pair with your hub, keep complete local copies of your shared folders, upload photos, share files into Arca, and browse your music library.
Your files, photos and music
Arca is a personal drive for your own devices. Your files, photos and music live on a hub you run yourself, and every device keeps complete local copies that stay in sync in both directions. No account, no public relay, no telemetry. WHAT YOU GET • Complete local copies: the files on your iPhone are real files, never placeholders. Open them offline. • Two-way sync: edits made on any device reach the others. When two devices edit the same file, both versions are kept. • Version history: restore older versions or deleted files from the hub's history. • Your music, everywhere: turn any folder into a music library. Artists, albums, covers and playlists are built from your own audio files. Play it on your computer or in a browser, and on Android, including Android Auto. On iPhone, browse the whole library and open any track in the player you prefer. • Playlists that are just files: playlists are standard .m3u8 files that sync like everything else and keep working outside Arca. • Photo uploads: send photos and videos from your library to a shared folder on your hub. Your originals stay in Photos, and Arca never deletes them from the system library. • Share to Arca: send a file from another app into any folder you sync. • Private by design: pairing uses single-use six-digit codes between your own devices. Nothing leaves your network unless you decide it should. HOW IT WORKS Arca needs a hub, which is a computer or server you control and which runs the free Arca hub software. Pair your iPhone with a short code and choose which shared folders to keep on this device. Arca is free for personal and non-commercial use.
