First release. Point the camera to read magnetic heading and tilt; each photo carries the bearing, tilt, time and, when location is on, coordinates. Export CSV or GPX.
Compass camera: bearing and tilt stamped on photos, GPS when allowed. CSV, GPX.
Field HUD puts a compass and inclinometer over the camera. Aim at a ridge, a roof line or a trailhead sign and read the magnetic heading, the cardinal direction, the camera's tilt and roll. Press the shutter and the photo keeps the bearing, inclination and time printed on it, with coordinates and their accuracy when location is on. The compass quality chip shows how far to trust the heading: field strength against Earth's usual 25 to 65 µT, heading jitter, and figure-8 coverage. Phone compasses drift near cars, steel and magnets. A field outside that range or a jumpy heading lowers the best grade the chip will show. Captures stay on the phone. Export them as CSV for a spreadsheet or GPX for a map, or share a single photo. No ads and no account. Headings are magnetic north. Field HUD is not a survey or cadastral instrument; use it for practice, recreation and approximate field notes. Scrolling Is Evil LLC support@scrollingisevil.com
