Every layout is generated and then solved by an internal logic engine using the same deduction techniques an experienced player would use. If the engine can't clear a board without guessing, that layout is thrown away and a new one is generated instead. Free to play. Offline-first. No forced timers by default. Minesweeper Classic is free to play, with ads and no in-app purchases at all. Hints and insurance are always optional shortcuts, never required to finish a puzzle. Contains ads. An internet connection is only used to sync new Adventure chapters and Daily Challenges — Classic and Custom modes work with zero connection, forever.
