every piece registers wrong. cannot play the game at all. challe gesfreezeand won't load. useless

My son loves to play this game, but unfortunately one of the cross pieces we received has never worked. I've been trying to get a replacement for 2 years, but the company has ghosted us. If your parts work it can be really fun. If not you are out of luck because customer service is the worst. :( Such a disappointment. :(
