Digital piggy bank for every goal: deposits, progress bar, history, currency
Give every goal its own box. Moneybox: Savings Goal Tracker is a set of digital piggy banks: one for the trip, one for the laptop, one for the rainy day, each with its own balance, goal, currency and history. Tap «Deposit» when you put money aside, tap «Withdraw» when you take some out, and the progress bar tells you how far you are. No sign-up, nothing to connect, nothing to configure. The app counts what you tell it, and the numbers stay on your phone. WHY YOU'LL LOVE MONEYBOX: SAVINGS GOAL TRACKER • Unlimited money boxes: a name, a color, an icon from a searchable picker, a starting balance and an optional goal for each. • Any currency per box: pick from the full currency list, so the euro fund and the dollar fund sit side by side. • Deposit and Withdraw in two taps: quick-amount buttons from 10 to 10,000 (edit or add your own in Settings > Amounts), a «Max» button to empty a box, a date you can backdate, and a comment. • Progress bar with percentage and «Left»: the amount still to save, right under the balance. • This week, this month: how the box moved in the current week and month. • Transactions and History: every deposit and withdrawal with date and comment; edit or delete any entry and the balance is recalculated. • Total with a currency filter: the list adds up all boxes, all boxes in one currency, or the ones without a currency. • Drag to reorder, search by name, archive finished goals and bring them back later. • Thousands separator on or off, light and dark themes, 73 interface languages. HOW IT WORKS 1. Tap the plus, name the box, choose a color and an icon, set a goal and, if you like, a currency. 2. Tap «Deposit» whenever you set money aside: pick a quick amount or type one, add a comment. 3. Watch the bar fill and «Left» shrink; when it reaches zero, archive the box or raise the goal. PERFECT FOR • A trip, a phone, a bike, a wedding: one box per purchase, one number to reach. • An emergency fund you top up a little each payday. • Cash savings at home: the jar on the shelf, counted in the app. • Several currencies: a box in dollars for the holiday, a box in your own currency for everything else. • Pocket money: a box per child, deposits with a comment, the full history for both of you. GOOD TO KNOW Moneybox counts the money you put aside; it does not touch your real accounts. Every entry is one you typed, which is exactly why the balance is one you trust. The Total line does not convert currencies; filter it by one currency to compare like with like. Articles under «Useful Content» open online; everything else works offline. TIPS • Set the goal to the real price, including the tax or the ticket fee, so «Left» is honest. • Add a comment to each deposit: «birthday money», «sold the old phone». The History becomes the story of the goal. • Keep one box called «Buffer» with no goal: the place for money that has no plan yet. • Backdate a deposit you forgot: the date field in the amount dialog accepts past days.
