Twelve months, one list. New Year's Resolution: Goals keeps every resolution for the year on a single screen: add it, tick it off when it is done, and watch the bar at the bottom move from 0/12 to 12/12. Last year's list stays in its own tab, next year's can be prepared in December, and anything you did not finish can be copied forward in one tap.
No account, no setup, no system to learn. A resolution is a name, a checkbox and a year, and the whole list lives on your phone.
WHY YOU'LL LOVE NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION: GOALS
• One tab per year: every year that has resolutions gets its own tab, oldest to newest, and the current year opens first. Scroll back to see what 2024 looked like.
• Add in two taps: press +, type the resolution, press Enter. Up to 50 characters, which is exactly enough to keep it concrete. A year picker next to the field lets you add to any of the four previous or four next years.
• Tick it off: the checkbox (or a tap on the text) marks a resolution Completed; it gets a strikethrough and fades, so what is still In Progress stands out.
• Progress per year: a bar under the list shows completed / total, say 7/12, and fills as you go. Settings > Progress > Hidden removes it if you prefer a plain list.
• Copy to next year: in December, open the menu and choose Copy to 2027 > All, Completed or In Progress. The chosen resolutions appear unchecked in the new year's tab.
• Tidy in a gesture: drag to reorder, swipe to delete, or use the ... menu for Edit and Delete with a confirmation.
• Ideas: the Ideas button opens a long article of resolution ideas when you are stuck for inspiration.
• Light and dark themes, 73 languages.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Press +, type a resolution, press Enter. Repeat until the year looks right.
2. Tick each one off when it is done. The bar at the bottom keeps the score.
3. Next December, copy what is still In Progress to the new year and start again.
PERFECT FOR
• The classic January list: fitness, reading, money, travel, learning, quitting something.
• Mid-year restarts: the year picker means a resolution added in July counts just the same.
• People who want one list, not a productivity system: no settings to tune before the first entry.
• Anyone who likes to look back: previous years stay in their tabs as a record of what you managed.
TIPS
• Write resolutions as things you can tick: "Run a 10K in May" or "Read 12 books", not "get fit". The 50-character limit helps.
• Ten is plenty. A short list you finish beats a long one you abandon in February.
• In December, copy only In Progress to the next year and leave the finished ones behind as proof.
• If the bar makes you anxious, hide it in Settings and check it once a month instead.
• Finished something early? Add the next step as a new resolution in the same year.
ONE LIST, NOTHING ELSE
The app does one thing: it holds your resolutions for the year and shows how many are done. Adding takes seconds, the tabs keep the years apart, and the only number on screen is the one that matters.
YOUR DATA, ON YOUR PHONE
Resolutions are stored in a local database on the device. There is no account and nothing is uploaded; the only online feature is the Ideas article. Delete the app and the list goes with it, so keep it installed for as long as the year lasts.
New Year's resolution tracker and goal tracker: one checklist of goals per year, tick off each resolution, watch the progress bar fill, and copy unfinished goals into next year's list, offline, in 73 languages. Use it as an annual planner, todo list or bucketlist for self-improvement: write down intentions, tick off what you achieve, and let the progress bar keep your motivation up.
