AllAboutMusic 1.0 Stream and download Creative Commons music from Jamendo, Listen offline, Build mixes with cue points and export them as one file Artists credited — via Jamendo (CC BY).
Music player for people who care where one track ends and the next begins.
AllAboutMusic streams Creative Commons music you can download and keep, then lets you shape it into your own mixes with real cue points. Browse featured tracks or filter by genre, search for something specific, and play it right away. Tap download and the track saves to your phone, so it keeps playing on the subway, on a flight, or wherever the signal drops. Music already on your device shows up in the same library. The mix builder is the reason this app exists. Add up to 50 downloaded tracks, drag them into order, then set a cue-in and cue-out point on each one. Skip a long intro. Cut the fade-out. End a track on the beat instead of two bars later. Downloaded tracks get a waveform scrubber, so you can see where the drop is instead of guessing at it. When a mix sounds right, export it as one audio file to your Music folder. It plays anywhere on your phone, no app required. What's in it: - Search and stream 320 kbps MP3 - Featured tracks and genre filters on the home screen - Offline downloads with a queue, live progress, and storage tracking - Your device's own music files, in the same library - Mixes of up to 50 tracks with drag-to-reorder - Cue-in and cue-out points on every track - Waveform scrubbing for downloaded tracks - Export a finished mix as one file - Mini player, full player, and background playback with lock screen controls - Cover art for your mixes, picked from your photos No account. No sign-up. No ads. Nothing syncs to a server, because there is no server. Your library, your mixes, and your listening history stay on your phone. Available in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Hindi, and Arabic. About the music: every track comes from Jamendo, a catalogue of independent artists who release under Creative Commons licences. That means you can legally download it and keep it. It also means this isn't where you'll find this week's chart hits. If you like finding artists before everyone else does, you'll be fine here. Artist credit shows on every track.
