every since the latest update the app just doesn't want to open or load it's been a serious problem getting in

Simdif is great for simple sites without alot of extras. There are free sites available, and paid sites with custom domain. Easy user interface, and an AI proofreader. Give it a try, what do you have to lose.

Thanks Kari, that means a lot. One thing worth knowing: you don't need a paid plan for a custom domain. You can buy the name through YorName in the app and use it with a free Starter site. Most builders make you upgrade for that but we don't.
