As someone that used the legacy version for years and held off upgrading. All I can say is WOW! What a beautiful music player. The developer has done such an amazing job and it clearly shows they put a lot of time and effort in how the app looks and performs.
Best player i have tried so far. Trying the podcast app next.
shuttle+ was abandoned for this, which costs £5.99 and has less customisation for how you view your music library.
Developer reply
Sorry Shuttle+ went quiet. I'm a solo dev with three young kids, so updates come when I can fit them in. More ways to browse your library, including folders, are on the list. If there's a particular view you miss, send it to developer@simplecityapps.com. – Tim
it's a mess of the library because everything gets jumbled together into categories of songs, genres, albums, artists, and playlists. I do not see an option for folder hierarchy view so you can browse your organized mess. if you have a very small library then it might be okay. IF you have a large library, then it's like tossing thousands of files into one folder and wanting to sort through it.

Thanks, folder browsing is one of the most requested features and it's high on my list.
App works perfectly without issues. Free trial only lasts 2 weeks, but for only 3 euro the whole app is definitely worth it. The .mp3 import process is simple, and the built in .mp3 tag editor also works well. would recommend.

Glad the import and tag editor are working well for you. Enjoy! Tim
it good

Thanks Layne, much appreciated.
This app has everything I was looking for. The only thing keeping it from a 5 star rating is the fact that the album/song artwork seems to not cache properly so it takes a minute to show up each time

Thanks! I'm reworking how artwork is cached so it shows up straight away. If one source is worse than the others (local, Jellyfin, Plex or Emby), let me know at developer@simplecityapps.com.
I love this app, and can you please add more shuffle features, such as shuffle artists, genres, years and composers? Thank you!
Developer reply
Thanks Kylie! Shuffle by artist, genre, year and composer is a great idea. It's on the list now. – Tim
works and excepted, can you guys please add favourites from jellyfin? I have a bunch of songs favourite in jellyfin but the app seems to have favourites of its own and not from the server itself

not recommended soon as you install it it comes up with the forced upgrade within 2 weeks saying that it increases your speed of playback everyday if you don't upgrade
