GemLens lets collectors, crystal fans, jewelry shoppers and geology learners photograph a gemstone, rock, crystal or mineral and receive an AI-assisted reference report. A free scan shows a likely name and species, color, hardness, crystal system, visible surface traits, confidence and photo-quality notes. No sign-up is required before the first result. Premium adds a broad photo-based reference value range, a care and cleaning guide for the stone, and a collection log with photos and notes. The value range is not a price quote or appraisal. GemLens is a reference tool, not a certified appraisal; consult a certified gemological laboratory for high-value decisions.
