First release of PDF Vault: scan, compress, convert, merge and sign PDFs on your device, and keep private files in an encrypted vault behind a PIN.
Scan, compress, convert and sign PDFs on your device. Lock them in a PIN vault.
PDF Vault handles the everyday PDF jobs: scan, compress, merge, convert, sign. Then it does what other PDF apps leave out: it locks the result behind a PIN, in an encrypted vault on your own device. Every page is processed on your phone or tablet. Your documents are not uploaded to a server for conversion, because there is no server. SCAN • Scan documents to PDF: edges are found for you, and you can keep adding pages • Scan ID card: front and back on a single page • OCR turns scans into a searchable PDF, using your device's own text recognition (Pro) PDF TOOLS • Compress PDF to make a file smaller; with Pro, compress to a size you choose, for upload forms with a limit • Merge & organize: combine files, then reorder, rotate, delete or split pages • Images to PDF, and PDF to images • HEIC convert: turn HEIC photos into JPG or PDF • Word/PPT to PDF: converts .docx and .pptx files • Sign: draw your signature once, then place it on any PDF • Print PDF • Your most-used tools come first on the home screen, and you can rearrange the tiles THE VAULT • Encrypted on your device and opened with your PIN, or with your fingerprint or face • A recovery code is the only way back if you forget the PIN. We do not have your key • Opens PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text, CSV, pictures, video and audio inside the app • The lock guards the vault only. The tools open straight away BROWSER, SYNC AND BACKUP • A built-in browser downloads PDFs, pictures and files straight into the app • Sync the vault between your own devices over your local network • Encrypted backup to a folder you choose PRIVACY, IN PLAIN WORDS • No account, no sign-up • Files are processed on the device and never uploaded • The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. They are non-personalised and never appear inside the vault, the viewers or the browser FREE AND PRO Free: scanning, every tool not marked Pro, the browser and a vault that holds up to 20 files. Ads support it. Pro: removes ads, unlocks OCR and compress to a size, and lifts the limit on the vault (within your device's storage). Choose a yearly subscription, with a 3-day free trial for first-time subscribers, or a one-time lifetime purchase. GOOD TO KNOW • Word and PowerPoint conversion handles .docx and .pptx, not the older .doc and .ppt. The layout of the PDF can differ from the original • A signature is an image of your handwriting, not a certified digital signature • The vault lives only on your devices. Keep a backup Help: https://smartsudio.com/pdfvault/support/ SUBSCRIPTION The yearly Pro subscription renews automatically every year unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your store account settings. Terms: https://smartsudio.com/pdfvault/terms/ Privacy: https://smartsudio.com/pdfvault/privacy/
