First release: blur, pixelate or mosaic faces, backgrounds and details on your phone, then save at full size.
Blur faces, backgrounds and private details on your phone. Saves at full size.
Photo Blur hides what should not be seen in a photo: faces, the background, a licence plate, a name on a document, a screen, an address. Faces and backgrounds are detected on your phone, your photos are edited on it, and there is no account. BLUR FACES IN ONE TAP Tap Find faces and every face in the photo is found on the device, outlined for a moment so you can check none were missed, then blurred, pixelated or covered with mosaic. Drag the strength slider to make it softer or stronger. BLUR THE BACKGROUND Keep the person or object sharp and soften everything behind them, for a portrait look or to hide where a photo was taken. CENSOR ANY DETAIL BY HAND • Brush: paint over text, plates or small details. A loupe above your finger shows exactly what is under it, and a circle shows the brush size. • Shapes: drag a rectangle or an ellipse over a document, a screen or a sign. • Three styles: blur, pixelate and mosaic. Pixelate and mosaic replace detail with solid blocks, which is what censoring text needs. • Undo and redo every step. SAVES AT FULL SIZE Your edit is applied to the original photo at its full resolution, and the save screen shows the exact size it was saved at. The original stays untouched. The saved copy carries no location or camera data, so a photo you blurred for privacy does not give away where it was taken. NO INTERRUPTIONS WHILE YOU EDIT The editing screen stays clear, so nothing interrupts an edit. Two optional effects, tilt-shift and lens blur, can be unlocked by watching a short video when you want them. Blurring, pixelating and saving never need one. Photo Blur uses the Android photo picker, so it never asks for access to your whole photo library.
