This app helps prevent spills by using sound waves and micro-vibrations to calm the bubbles in carbonated drinks that have been accidentally shaken.
[Prevent spills from accidentally shaken carbonated drinks!] "SodaCalm" is a support app that uses sound waves and micro-vibrations from your smartphone to calm spills from dropped or shaken carbonated bottles and cans. ■ Scientific Mechanism and Principle When a carbonated drink is shaken, countless "bubble nuclei" adhere to the inner wall of the container. If the bottle is suddenly opened in this state, an explosive chain reaction of effervescence occurs, causing the liquid to spray out. This app transmits a 160Hz pure tone and micro-vibrations (frequency equivalent to humming or vocal cord vibration) to the container. Boundary shear stress and acoustic unification (Björknes force) forcibly detach the bubble nuclei from the wall, allowing them to escape into the upper space and promoting liquid stabilization (calm). ■ Three Selectable Modes ・Quick (30 seconds): For light shaking in a bag or while walking, or for lightly carbonated drinks. ・Standard (60 seconds): For cola, cider, or large bottles that have been accidentally dropped or shaken. ・Emergency (90 seconds): For drinks that have been shaken vigorously, or for highly carbonated water, cans, or bottles. ■ Instructions for Correct Use 1. Quickly wipe off any water droplets (condensation) from the bottle with a towel, etc. (to prevent water damage to the terminals). 2. Firmly press the bottom of your smartphone (speaker/charging port side) against the liquid in the bottle. 3. Turn up the media volume and press the start button. 4. After completion, wait 5-10 seconds, then slowly twist the cap, allowing the gas to escape with a "hissing" sound, and slowly open the bottle. *This app is an assist tool to reduce the risk of spillage. It may not completely prevent spillage in cases of vigorous shaking, so we recommend opening the bottle in a safe place such as a sink. *Beer and sparkling wine are not included as they contain foaming agents.
